My Son has always been interested in computers. When my Niece called me to mention the Codeville Junior Codecamp, I was skeptical at first because it was in Enugu, but it's something he wanted, and My Niece was willing to take care of him. So his Dad and I flew him to Enugu for the Training, and Shawn returned to a different person. I was surprised when I saw the projects he built and watched him talk about his plans. I also loved that it wasn't just technical skills they were taught because when Shawn came back, I could see the difference in how he tried to lead and communicate with his siblings, and I commend the Codeville Team for that.

Do you know that first Codeville training many years ago is one of the best decisions I have made. Daniel obsesses with anything on ICT. He’s constantly downloading videos any small chance he has and tries to recreate what he sees. Games , NFT etc. I have had to download UNITY, Unreal Engine Apps so he can try things on them from some YouTube videos.

I think what I really liked about Learnable was that it showed me what was possible. I met people doing amazing things, which showed me the gaps in my knowledge and what I needed to do. It gave me a better glimpse outside of tutorials into what the developer life was about. I learnt more about teamwork and grew my skills immensely. It also gave me the confidence to call myself a software engineer.
